RQE 3rd Place, Holmesville, OHIO ALL Leopard Hunt
We were not able to put up a very good score on Thursday night. Rush got into an area that was being logged and got into tree tops and was doing to much thinking and not enough barking and the 6 got him for 100 minus. He later got treed with a den. On the second drop he got a first and first with the coon seen for 225 plus. He made one other den tree as the hunt time was running out. Finished with a paltry 125 plus but it was enough for the cast win.
Grand American 2023
Cast Win Friday night HIGH Scoring Leopard
Rush was the only Leopard at the 2023 Grand American to have a cast win. He treed the only coon in the cast with a 4th strike and 1st tree for 150 plus. I made a bad decision in the Saturday night cast and agreed to call time out. Rush tree a minute or two after. I feel this probably took a cast win away from him. He was the only dog to tree 2 coons in the cast but the first one didn't go on the score card because of my bad decision.
Leopard Days 2022
RQE 1st Place, Holmesville, OHIO ALL Leopard Hunt
With all the wins we have experienced together a Leopard Days win had eluded us with attempts in 2017 and 2018. For various reasons we didn't go in 2019, 2020, and 2021. We made it a point to get there in 2022 and got our win Thursday night with 525+ and got another coon treed two minutes after the hunt.
